This little lady was so much fun to photograph! Although her amazing amounts of energy really pushed mine to the limits, I managed to get a few shots of her standing still. Of course, that was after the treasure hunt she took me on!

I used to think that as a photographer the ONLY way you could get really good pictures of your own child was to have somebody else take them or bribe them with chocolate.
Today, all I did was ask if she wanted to play outside and I would take some pictures. She told me “Yes, Mommy! You can take my picture!”
I didn’t even need the chocolate!

I just finished up the proofs for this engagement session. It was such a pleasure to work with these two and looking at these photographs for the past few days has brought back such great memories of my husband and me.

It has been long awaited but Fall is finally here! I love fall for so many different reasons. The smell of the burning leaves, the apple and pumpkin baked goods and the cooler weather, meaning it is time to break out the sweaters!
While all these things are amazing, nothing quite beats the colors of the trees.
